How to Search for Items in the Library
Basic Search:
- Enter Keywords: Type the title, author, subject, or any keyword related to the item you are looking for in the search bar.
- Select Search Scope: You can choose to search within the entire library catalog or narrow it down to specific collections, such as eBooks, journals, or specific library branches.
- Click Search: Hit the “Search” button or press Enter to view results.
Advanced Search:
- Use Filters: Access advanced search by clicking on the “Advanced Search” link. Here, you can apply multiple filters such as publication year, item type, language, and more.
- Boolean Search: Use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine your search. For example, searching “history AND Africa” will return results that contain both terms.
