A Covenant is an agreement between two or more parties. Each Party is obligated to keep their part of the Covenant. A Covenant is legal and biding. Keeping it ensures certain benefits while breaking it has some kind of repercussions. God made a Covenant with Abraham and his seed which he will never break.
