Leila Karani falls deeply in love with Nathan Njeru, believing their relationship will last forever. During this reunion, Leila discovers truths about Nathan’s past specifically about why he treated her cruelly. These revelations force her to re‐evaluate not only her feelings, but what’s best for her daughter’s future. The core conflict becomes whether Leila can forgive Nathan.
